ATGC has the best Trails Map in town!
We are outdoor enthusiasts and we spent some time designing a map that would incorporate the best features that a trail user could use. The map includes Anchorage’s Best Trails. Maps are available at Skinny Ravens and at XXXX. It is nearly out of print, and we are considering updating it for a second printing, so if you have comments or would like to see it updated, please let us know.

Available at REI, Muni Parks and Recreation facilities, the Log Cabin Visitors Center and the Alaska Public Lands Information Center in downtown Anchorage, and the Bureau of Land Management office in Anchorage.

Chugach Park Trailheads and Access Points
For trailheads and unimproved access points in Chugach Park, see the Chugach Park Access Coalition’s website. It includes descriptions of trailheads in the front range of the Park from Girdwood to Peters Creek (including Anchorage and Eagle River) and directions on how to get to the access points.
